Lifting & Handling Solutions Ltd design, manufacture and install jib cranes, swing jibs and post jibs to meet your exact requirements.

Our custom design service caters for all eventualities no matter what you are lifting, over what distance or how high. As with all our systems we will, if required carry out a free, full site survey at your premises and discuss with you exactly what your require from a piece of bespoke lifting equipment such as a swing jib. Only then will we make recommendations on what type of equipment suits your application. There is a huge range of jib crane variants and we can advise you on the best configurations of height of lift, reach/radius, under beam height, over or under braced design and the type of hoisting system best for you. Following these recommendations we will agree a concept with you before giving you a written quotation.

Once your order is received we will produce a general arrangement drawing for your to review and check to ensure the basic dimensions of the crane meet your operational requirements before we commence manufacturing. Once complete we can if required, install the equipment for you using our own experienced in house installation team.

Scope of Supply

  • Structure – over and under braced designs
  • Custom Built – to suit height of lift, reach/radius and under beam height
  • Bespoke Design – to suit the load weights from as little as 20kg for pick and place operations
  • Hoisting Options – manual chain blocks, electric hoists including atex rated models, air/pneumatic hoists, vacuum lifters and magnets
  • Slew Options – Manual 270 or 360 degrees, powered 270 or 360 degrees (electric or pneumatic) Slew can be limited to less than 270 degrees.
  • Choice of Finishes – Standard safety yellow or top coat to your Ral No., galvanised, or stainless steel with micron polishing finish
