RUD PowerPoint® PP

Double-ball bearing – for smooth lifting and turning operations.

The first generation of lifting- and lashing points with an universal connection for every sling means (hook- and ring assembly, basket chains, round slings, loops, etc), all complete with double-ball bearing for smooth lifting and turning operations. The optimized design avoids damage to the sling means and the precious load during turning. Maximum WLL with smallest thread diameter. Version PP-S: The standard universal connection by eye hooks for master link assemblies, round slings, wire ropes, hook assemblies…

RUD StarPoint VRS

Eye bolt VRS in pink – can be adjusted to the direction of pull. Higher load capacities than DIN 580-Eyebolts.

Attention: Lateral loads with eye bolts acc. to DIN 580 are forbidden! With multiple-point-suspensions at 2- leg and 3 / 4-leg, the positioning of the eye bolt has to be in the direction of pull. This can only be realized with RUD STARPOINT eye bolts as they are adjustable to the direction of pull when fitted.

RUD StarPoint VRS

Can be turned by 360°, adjusted to the direction of pull.

The RUD lifting ring VLBG can be turned by 360°, aligned to the direction of pull, the load ring can be tilted, guaranteeing full WLL in all load directions. Complete with a 100% crack detected hexagon insert socket screw for universal use of tools. The maximum lengths of the screws are adjusted in a way that a material thickness of abt. 8xM (with M8 to M30) or 5xM (with M36 to M48) can be mounted by using a hexagon nut (ISO 7084/7090).

RUD Load ring WBG-V/WBG

The lifting ring for turning operations.

The heavy duty lifting rings >WBG-V< and >WBG< have a ball-bearing swivel and are suitable for turning and tilting of loads. Simple assembly, only one tapped hole is required. Available with different thread lengths.

RUD StarPoint-Eye Nut VRMP

High-tensile eye bolts – Higher WLL than DIN 580 or BS Eyebolts

Forged, tempered and 100% crack detected. Fool-proof compared with common DIN eye bolts by:

Shape: Octagonal means quality class 8 Identification: Distinct indication of WLL for the most unfavourable case (lateral load – not allowed with DIN 580).

Ensure the eye bolt is bolted down flush to the surface! Avoid twisting movements during transport.

Higher WLL than compared with DIN 582 eye nuts.

Forged, tempered and 100% crack detected. Fool-proof compared with common DIN eye nuts by:

Shape:Octagonal means quality class 8 Identification: Distinct indication of WLL for the most unfavourable case (lateral load – not allowed with DIN 582). In order to guarantee the WLL, the thread connection must at least consist of quality 8.8. Eyenut must be bolted tight during use. Avoid twisting movements during transport.

Lifting points ready for bolting with patented relief naps (up to RBG 15 t), protecting the fixing screws against bending- and shearing loads. All versions with 100% crack detected bolts.

RUD Inox-Star – Stainless Steel

For multiple applications in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

The drop-forged body and captive-mounted special bolt of the Inox-Star are made of duplex steel 1.4462. Both the body and the bolt have been 100% inspected for cracks. Frequently used lifting points must be examined periodically for wear. With the Inox-Star, this is facilitated by the special wear marks on the inner side of the ring body. Currently, RUD can supply standard M12/16/20/24 units with load limits ranging from 500 to 2,500 kg. Upon request, points up to size M36 and with a load limit of 8 tonnes can be produced in stainless steel.

RUD Load Ring LBG-RS – Stainless Steel

For multiple applications in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

The stainless lifting ring >LBG-RS< is manufactured out of material 1.4571, thus resistant against inter-cristalline corrosion in welded condition – in permanent use up to 400°C. Due to an increased chemical resistance because of molybdenum contents they have increased resistance against pitting by chloride-containing solutions/atmospheres, the LBG-RS is used in different applications such as chemical oil coal industries and textile processing.
